This is how SARI, Automatic Image Recognition System, works!
It acquires and analyzes images that it then compares with those contained in a database (a list of 16 million people filed by the police). A mix of investigative technology and traditional investigation.
A useful investigative tool to fight crime or a means to violate the privacy of millions of people?
The problem exists.
However, I believe the right to safety prevails. Therefore, I consider it useful. The important thing is that it really works, that there are no errors in recognizing people, false matches due to poor image quality.
We'll see!
